DillySocks

DillySocks

The founders of the sustainable sock label DillySocks were inspired by the colorful impressions from our environment. In order to maintain this diversity, it is important for them to keep our ecological footprint as small as possible, but still as colorful as possible. By using biodegradable components, Dilly Socks succeeds in minimizing the negative impact on our environment. The cotton used to manufacture the socks is 100% of  organic origen. Dilly Socks does not use any toxins when dyeing the yarn. This is what the Oeko-Tex® 100 standard certificate guarantees.

Dilly Socks has replaced plastic bags with PLA bags, which are compostable. And together with Fluidsolid, the sock manufacturers have developed a compostable hanger that is made exclusively from wood waste and enzymes. And Dilly Socks prints the labels exclusively on recycled paper. The colorful organic socks are produced in a Portuguese family company. The traditional sock manufacturer is now in its second generation producing high quality hosiery on a wide variety of knitting machines.

The social aspect is not neglected at Dilly Socks either. Dilly Socks uses a foundation for people with disabilities to produce “sock monkeys” from their unsold organic socks. These are resold for a good cause without profit.

At DillySocks, every pair of socks is a statement for a more colorful, fairer and more ecological world - will you join in?
